We hold extensive historical files on Troop Carrier Units sourced from the National Archives, Maxwell AFB U.S. Air Force Historical Research Agency, Carlisle Barracks library, presidential libraries, and colleges. We value our relationship with families as a true partnership.

94TH FLYING TRAINING SQUADRON (94th FTS): - Explore our affiliation with 94th FTS
Our members are an integral part of an organization affiliated with the 94th FTS. We maintain a close partnership with the 94th FTS, 306th Flying Training Group, Air Force Academy. Each May, we present the "G" is for Guts award at their "G" Wings Ceremony on behalf of our members. This allows our members to connect with Cadets and Officers during our reunion.
AIR FORCE HISTORICAL FOUNDATION (AFHF) - Connect with AFHF
Our members are part of an organization affiliated with the AFHF. The AFHF supports organizations like ours by enhancing visibility and connections. They also safeguard our intellectual property, with journals backed up to the Air University Library a year after publication. Explore more here
SILENT WINGS MUSEUM (SWM): - Silent Wings Museum Foundation
Our members contribute to the Silent Wings Museum through our affiliation. As the museum belongs to the city of Lubbock, we actively support the Silent Wing Museum Foundation, an external entity that supports the museum. Members enjoy free entrance to the Silent Wings Museum and receive discounts at the museum gift shop, with fifty percent of membership dues contributing to the Silent Wings Museum Foundation.
SCHOLARSHIPS: - spread the word about our Scholarship
Every spring, we reach out to high schools and colleges, providing information about scholarships available to high school seniors and college freshmen and sophomores. These scholarships are awarded based on essays.
COMMUNICATION:
We utilize MailChimp for efficient communication with our members. Emails cover Executive Council (EC) meeting notices, the WWII U.S. Glider Pilot Briefing, elections, and other pertinent information.
