At the 2013 reunion in Kansas City Scott Glover, Historic Air Tours, brought in his C-47 and flew seven free tours and provided lunch for the day. For the veterans there was another treat. Cowden Ward from Freedom Flights, brought in his P-51 and offered any of the veterans to fly with him. Twelve veterans took him up on the offer: Scott Glover’s C-47 Sky King. Thank you Scott! | ||
