50th Troop Carrier Wing. 436th Troop Carrier Group, 80th Troop Carrier Squadron. Having successfully landed their glider midst intense enemy gunfire of practically every calibre and fighting side by side with troops of the 82nd A/B Division, whom they flew to the European Continent, these two glider pilots are shown getting their first bit of rest on a field in Normandy.
